Missionaries from Tennessee are doing their part to help contain an outbreak of cholera that already has killed more than 250 people in Haiti.
"People are aware now; fears are there, but they don't know enough to understand the dangers," Andrea Brewer said Monday.
Brewer and her husband Mike, missionaries with Reach Haiti, an organization from Tennessee, are holding clinics in Croix des Bouquet, a northern suburb of Port-au-Prince, to try to teach people how to avoid the disease.
Missionaries? Why don't they just pray? OH WAIT that's right it's not real. Good for them at least for doing something and making a real difference.
Even if they're still shallow enough to think prayer is a real form of helping.
It's good to know someone is trying to help.
real christians do everything they can to help people! and prayers and God are real! apparently you have only been exposed to the money loving megachurch fakey christians who condemn everyoneone and show neither love nor mercy. but not to worry God has a place prepared for them too. im thankful for real christians and all they do for this sad and hurting world
As someone who does medical missions with my church that prayer is the most important part of my work..Only God can give eternal healing...and to u who judge megachurches..make sure u remove the plank from ur own eye...Jesus said if u dont have love for your brethern u have not recieved the spirit...
They don't need help. They need advice. Don't poop in your drinking water.. Problem solved..
