Prosthetic leg believed to belong to missing N.C. girl
Investigators have found a prosthetic leg that they believe belonged to missing North Carolina girl Zahra Baker, Hickory Police Chief Tom Adkins said Wednesday.

God needed another beautiful angel May she rest in peace
With this discovery, I feel that finding out what happened to her is so much closer. What a sad story for this child.
I pray for this young girl. What a horrible life she has lived. If her father and stepmother are responsible may they find justice a hard one. To think the father denied the birthmother a role in this precious child's life while the father did nothing to protect the gift he was given. He may even be the one to take her life. If she has left this earth she is in a better place where she will be whole, she will be loved and treated as the special person she is.
All adults in close proximity of Zahra failed her miserably, from her father, step-mother, mother, and neighbors. The neighbors never reported the abuse because, most likely, Zahra was different with her prosthetic leg and hearing aid. The father and neighbors did not contribute to her physical abuse, but they did neglect her because of her disability and differences. I've seen this before where people ignore the physically different or disabled even when the disabled are being physically abused to the point of torture. It's a very sad state of affairs, and I hoped that Zahra will be found safe and alive, but I know she went to another place.
Derp, I hope someone finds you in the trash. It would be a million times better than what you deserve. God, I hope you're not able to procreate.
What a horrible thing to happen to such a beautiful little girl who had already been through so much in her short life. I wish this story would turn out to have a happy ending, but it looks like it won't. 🙁

What burns me the most is that there were people who suspected, or knew that she was being abused/neglected and chose to do nothing. May guilt forever rest on their souls. This world is turning into a complete dump. SMH.
