Notre Dame student killed while filming football practice

The University of Notre Dame in Indiana will hold a special Mass on Thursday in memory of a 20-year-old student who died when a camera tower he was standing on fell over.

Declan Sullivan, a junior from Long Grove, Illinois, was filming the college's football team practice on Wednesday. It was part of his job with the athletics department, the college said.

The hydraulic scissor lift he was standing on fell over. He died shortly afterward, the school said.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

"No words can convey the shock and grief we all are experiencing," said college President John Jenkins. "Declan was a well-liked, bright and enthusiastic film and marketing student, and a valued member of the Notre Dame family."

amg, i did'nt realize i was able to make people believe anything! Careful your mind must be a real nice place to visit, (just to make me appreciate my fuked up self). But glad i dont live there. Nobody makes anyone believe anything, you present all the facts you know(thats how you make good decisions) and everyone draws their own conclusion

one thing is certain we will all know the truth about god and life when our time on earth is finished. there is no death of spirit. we simply pass from this realm into the next. we will all spend eternity somewhere... for those of us who believe in eternal life with our creator, the best is yet to come!!! god loves you more than you could ever comprehend. if you don't beileve it, just call on him, with sincerity, and he wiil pour out his love on you. and you can be certain about your eternal destiny.
