Was not aware that his Tsunami resulted in this loss of life.

Is there a specific fund for this Tsunami Relief?

So busy campaigning around here that we fail to hear this news...

It is imperative that we remember to help the people whose lives are destroyed by these Natural Disasters.

Ummmm...Queen Solomon? Maybe you haven't noticed but US is mired in debt. Where is the funding for your disaster relief idea? Borrow more from China so we can ignore our own starving children and help foreign earthquake victims?

    Funny you say that, Phil.
    "Our own starving children.."
Have you ever been truly hungry?
Do you even realize that both children AND teenagers have a 20% obesity rate? (http://www.cdc.gov/HealthyYouth/obesity/)
Im not going to shoot down your morale and tell you you're wrong, but i will ask you to open your eyes before making such a statement.

@frenchw....I was simply pointing out that we USians can't afford to feed other peoples children while many of our own are starving. And duh. We all know that there isn't enough food to go around because obese people eat more than their fair share.

Are you going to say something that actually contributes to the conversation, or are you just going to continue pretending you're saying something important by insulting those who are?

The earth produces more food than is necessarry to sustain all human life. The problem is in the unfair distribution. example: fat people eat so much food there aren't enough leftovers to feed everyone else. wtg fat-azz

    Lmao.!
Sigh, sadly, what you're saying is true. Equal distribution...
How could the world possibly find a way to feed those who cant feed themselves?

  9. The truth will set you free

Truth is people are starving generation after generation. Its called natural selection. Stop feeding those people that live in areas that they cant produce their own food and they will die off. Then we wont have anymore starving people. Maybe stop feeding them and spend the money on moving them to a place they can survive on their own. Oh it sounds harsh but you cant live in a place where food wont grow.

I saw a family of 4 at Wal-Mart today that looked like a herd of hippos...I bet they put down enough food in one meal to feed 5 Indonesian villages for a month...in the US, gluttony and obesity are causing a burden on healthcare, and in the third world, starvation and malnourishment are causing a burden on healthcare...there is clearly a paper-easy solution here that would save a ton of money in general, but much easier said or papered than done...

Picture 10 people trapped in a mine shaft. They have enough food to last 10 days. So, do the two obese people in the shaft get extra food? No, because then there would only be 8 days worth of food. Such is the case worldwide.
