I wonder how many pot heads managed to peel themselves off the couch to go vote? Only 40% of eligible voters partake in elections so 60% has no reason to complain. I think they should legalize pot if they are going to keep alcohol and tobacco legal, but people need to get involved in the process if they are going to change things.

Marijuana is easy to grow. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to grow pot.

by upscale we mean we dont get our stuff from the hood. It means we deal with the situation without buying it from common street trash, there really is a difference, better class of people, better weed, yup, i smoke, have for 30 years, dont beg, borrow, or steal, and i got off the couch to vote, even though i dont like our govt.

pot would be difficult to regulate,e.g. Tax. Its not like alcohol, you dont brew your own whiskey, when its cheaper, safer, and readily available in any form. Id rather drive in a town full of stoners than one partly full of drunks!

people dont even need to go to far from their couch. we have the option to vote at home. thats how lazy this friggin country is. they cant even walk 5 feet to the front door to drop it in their box. seriously 42.9% turnout in CA. how pathetic.

JIM- your an idiot, im gonna go ahead and guess ur a republican, u know its stupid ignorant people like you who are holding back legalization ,people like you are the reason why the drug cartel's are killing innocent civilians. how in the world is california gonna be a war zone by legalizing marijuana , if anything id be safer because the drug cartels know there is no business to make in there, nobody is gonna buy drugs from a drug cartel when u can just go to the store and buy some grade A, legal, taxed good pot. really think about it and stop being an ignorant conservative, thats whats wrong with you people instead of being open minded and thinking about logical new solutions to this new problems of this new era. all u do is cover your ears and sing lalalala. stop being an idiot and start helping your country

I agree with eddy. Marijuana has had a bad rap for way too long now. It is misunderstood and false information about it abounds. Comparing alcohol to marijuana....no comparison, alcohol is much worse. Who ever heard of a stoned husband coming home and beating his wife? Alcohol makes people do horrible things. This country is so backwards in their thinking. Victorian thinking still hangs on! Wake up America!

Eddy i do agree with you. but calling someone an ignorant idiot cause they dont share the same views as you is so stupid thats what this country is founded on is the right to have your own opinion.

Pot would not help crime rates, Mexican cartels know they could not wage "war" on US soil or they would have already in AZ. THe national guard would have that border sealed if Citizens were being killed. over pot.

eddy, if you had a better job, and uncle sam's puttin to ya pretty good, you get tired of political correct views, someone has to foot the bill( none of us like what we got, as in i didnt order this) truth is the unsustainable part of our country could be relieved by unburdening state budgets, 80+%, on prisons, and social services. Stop the dug cartels?, sure, let megrow my own
