Thank you, Louis. I did a a brief foreign exchange in Alajuela and I've had my heart in my throat. I know it's trajic where ever it happens but it's such a beautiful town and there's some bad cliffs around there.

Most of the damage was in San Antonio de Escazu, specifically in barrio El Carmen, which is right next to Mount Pico Blanco: 20 dead so far. I spent the whole day as volunteer on site; I saw a lot of solidarity today. My condolences to the families in pain. There were also severe floods in Parrita, Cartago and Aserrí.

And then Johnny, maybe someday you're brain will make it out and evolve from neanderthal-man to a real man ...but I seriously doubt that!

Do you really think it matter what the houses are made out of (and maybe you'd like to know that it's not mud)? It's the earth under and around them that's giving away. The soil can't take anymore water from this rainy season. There are mudslides all over the world, regardless of economic status or education or whatever it is that you think sets you apart from the people here. Welcome to the 21st century. Open your eyes.

How ridiculous are some of you, you don’t have any respect for live, people like you are just a big mistake of the nature, some of you are just a stupid pace of sh.t, and ironically you talk about mothers nature colon cleanser! Look yourself in the mirror, and truly you should be embarrassed the kind of “person” you are, stupid morons. Who do you think you are? You are mortal, be careful, because one day could be your turn. If you don’t have anything nice to say, please shut up!

All my heart and my thoughts are with Costa Rican people.

Sorry my English, as you can see English is not my mother tongue, just want to say what I think about you, and I am sure most you are so ignorant that you could not understand if I said that in Spanish, French or Italian, so I try to say in English.

      PS. hope you understand. 🙂

The jerks leaving "BAD" messages will surely receive worse treatments in life, in one way or another, than these folks in Costa Rica. Boo Hoo to him/them!

humor mitigates the real issue of are we all gong to be here in 20 years? Sorry. Life is an amazing gift, fragile, yet resilient, id like to think that its all going to be o.k. But its not! Things happen for a reason. Why do you not see some of theese religious comments could be taken as a lack of faith, as in questioning god's will?

And here I thought someone had poisoned their drinks. Also, it is not God's will for people to die.
