Too bad they don't take volunteers for a firing squad. I would supply my own weapon and save them the expense of bullets. then it would be a deterrence
Firing squad is probably one of the most humane executions available in the US. They have 4 marksman all shooting for the heart. One gun has a blank. The heart literally explodes and the death is supposed to be instant. However, it is thought by some that the brain lives for 7 minutes after the heart stops.. So it is possible he has a good 7 minutes to ponder what he did....
