Jury recommends death for Connecticut killer

Steven Hayes, a man convicted of killing three members of a Connecticut family during a home invasion, should receive the death penalty, jurors decided after more than 16 hours of deliberation.

    Lived in Fla. Took 11yrs to fry Bundy. Cost the 11m, 5 appls, 3 stays and 5 protesters. So good luck CT

    It is believed Bundy killed over 30 young women. Was sentenced to death for Kimberly Leach, 12yrs old. 5 protesters showed for his execution. There were more police for crowd control than crowd. So have fun CT

    Too bad they don't take volunteers for a firing squad. I would supply my own weapon and save them the expense of bullets. then it would be a deterrence

      Firing squad is probably one of the most humane executions available in the US. They have 4 marksman all shooting for the heart. One gun has a blank. The heart literally explodes and the death is supposed to be instant. However, it is thought by some that the brain lives for 7 minutes after the heart stops.. So it is possible he has a good 7 minutes to ponder what he did....
