Rangel walks out of ethics hearing

Embattled Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-New York, walked out of his House ethics subcommittee hearing Monday, complaining that he has not had sufficient time to hire a new legal team to respond to corruption

The subcommittee rejected Rangel's request to delay the hearing until a new defense team is assembled.

Rangel faces 13 allegations, include failing to pay taxes on a home in the Dominican Republic, misuse of a rent-controlled apartment for political purposes and improper use of government mail service and letterhead.

This story has nothing to do with GWB.
    Wake up.
GWB has his own cross to bear. You're not going to turn this around and make it about somebody who's not involved are you?
Stick to the subject of the article or don't post.

Rangle is guilty and him walking out proves it. He has the arrogance required to steal and believe he is above the law.

Rangel is such an azz. I mean look at the guy. And those other Congressional Scoundrels will ultimatly issue a "strong vote of disapproval". At least the Rangel will have his cohort church members to fall back on. I hope he squashes them when he does.

Just like you people! Demean and debase! You've done for centuries! You're cowards and low-lifes! This man has given 50 yrs. of his life toward serving HIS country and all you can do is call him names and accuse of something to which I can bet you any kind of money, none of you don't the whole story nor the truth behind the story! He's a BLACK MAN and that is all you need to know. I bet there are somethings I could say about you and your dog smelling behinds that would infuriate you as much as I am. Shame on you for attacking a 80 yr. old man. I guess HELL ain't full enough yet! Goat smelling dumb hicks!
