Barbara Bush gives her opinion of Sarah Palin

It appears that Sarah Palin does not have much of a fan in Barbara Bush.

In an interview on CNN's Larry King Live, the former first lady said she once sat next to Alaska's one-time governor.

Her impression?

"Thought she was beautiful. And she's very happy in Alaska," Bush said, chuckling. "I hope she'll stay there."

She made the remarks in an interview with CNN's Larry King scheduled to air Monday at 9 p.m. ET. Tune in to catch Bush and husband, former President George H.W. Bush, talk politics, Junior's book, and the Tea Party.

i think barney the dinosar would get more votes than Palin if she was elected as president. I mean who in there right mind would run as president and get so embarrased by the support she will get? this is the way i see it if she runs i bet she gets less that -20% of the american vote. Then again are Palin fans even smart enough too vote or know how too? Hmmm maybe she will stop are war overseas! Ohh ya im sure other country leaders would be sure to get along with "air head" Palin!

K.B. I think you had better take a course in spelling, sentence structure and composition writing. You have passed the third grade, yes? Unfortunately, most of you Palin haters have illiteracy in common with each other. After all of the crap that has been thrown at this family over the past two years by you psychopaths, you might think that it's all been said and go back to counting your toes to fill your dreary days; no, you mindless things continue to post the same things day after day, post after post, post after post, again and again. (That is Einstein's definition of insanity and my definition of stupid.) If there is another Palin article tomorrow, you and the other mindless morons will do it all again. Poor things.

K.B., The answer to your question is OBAMA. No one could be as stupid as Obama. No one could be as supid as you, to vote for Obama. Please don`t even try to put down First Ladies. Nothing could ever compare to the classy FIRST LADY BUSH,OR THE FIRST LADY BUSH JUNIOR. There have been some great first ladies of the U>S>A>, But you can bet that there will never be one as ugly and stupid as the the first lady Obama or as I call her FIRST LADY GORILLA .

I continue to be amazed by the medias constant coverage on this woman whose isn't even a candidate. It reminds me of the Mario Cuomo will he run? Won't he run? coverage of years ago. The Barbara Bush comment only reaffirms that Americas Political elite are so out of touch with what is going on...on Main Street" that over time they will no longer be the ruling class. The 2008 Presidential Election was the begining of the end of the two party system. The coming generation will not allow us to be categorized simply in a box of right versus left. In 2008 voters proved it was about Men vs women, black vs white, young vs old, and legal vs illegal The tea party is the begining of the political unraveling. The democratic party will have its own rogue undercurrent in the monts ahead. It promises to be an interesting time in the years ahead. Sarah Palin is unique only in that she recognizes this and is smart enough to catch the wave and ride it to be bank

As long as she is riding the wave to the bank and not the White House is OK with me. She is getting the fool's money not mine.

i'll never understand the infatuation the conservative talking geads have with Palin. But, I still don't understand what anyonr sees in Obama either. The entire crop of American politicians–from BOTH sides of the aisle–are embarassing and downright dangerous for our country and our liberty. Don't be fooled, sheeple, they are all the same. Every one of 'em.

I seem to remember that in the year 2000, many Democrats were happy because a little-known Texas governor by the name of George W. Bush had won the Republican presidential nomination. They thought there was no way he could beat Al Gore, vice-president to president Bill Clinton, who was very popular, at the time. Well, George W. Bush went on to beat Al Gore and become a 2-term president. And Sarah Palin is much more popular and well-known than then-governor George W. Bush was and Barack Obama is not as popular as then-vice-president Al Gore was. So, I would say that Sarah Palin, at least, has a pretty good chance at beating Barack Obama.

People seem to have very short memory to even consider that the Bush family opinion should be respected on any level. Do you people even remember what they did to this country? I'll give you a minute to think about it.

Is it just me but has anyone notice that Sarah Palin has a lazy eye and a bit crosseyed, my opinion is she plain and I hate the sound of her voice I LIKEN IT TO SCRAPING NAILS ACCROSS A CHALK BOARD! She clearly stated on her tv show she rather be in the alaska back wood. then some stuffy political office! They need to leave her in alaska.

    • really?

I am not a Palin fan, and I don't know whether she has a lazy eye or not, but that has nothing to do with her political potential or lack thereof. At least stick to facts rather than just being hateful about things people cannot control.

"You people who love Sarah Palin love her bigotry and racism. You love her hate filled polluted, limited mind."

What proof do you have of her "bigotry", and "hate filled" mind? Do you know what she thinks about? Your rant sounds every bit as hate filled as anything Palin has ever said. Or, is it just because she has no use for Obama that you consider her racist?

Okay here it is. God invented Sarah Palin to wake us up and to the point of appreciating people like Carl Rove and George Bush.
The poor lady simply has a case of penis envy coupled with having to grow up in the land of misfit toys amoung bears and wolves.
She has brought a light to a great many things, and we should be thankful.
    She will NEVER be president.

The people who built this nation lived just that same lifestyle. They lived a hard life and worked for everything they got, and sometimes failed to reap a reward for their work. Not like the losers like you, whose families came dragging their useless azzes here after all the fighting, dying and hard work has been done, now hold their hands out for a free ride... useless and mindless fuxian parasites.

  13. Marvin Bush 4 Prez

Jeb Bush and the old Siverado Savings and Loan crooks may never be in office. But wait! There's another of the Bush clan that has been under the radar: Marvin Bush, the youngest one of them. He gained some noteriety when his Securacom corporation was dissolved on 9/12 (the day after 9/11) Securacom had security contracts with the World Trade Center, Boston Logan Airport, Dulles Airfield, etc. I find it strange that Marvin isn't a household name by now.

Sad reality is if Sarah palin runs for president, half of you Americans will vote for her, because of the party that uses her as a puppet. Hopefully for the rest of the world, its less than half.

Palin is more interesting in making a quick buck selling books to showcase her petty vindictiveness, delivering shallow, snarky speeches laden with stale, banal talking points, and being on the receiving end of softball interviews given by her cheerleading squad at FOX PAC than she is in being a thoughtful, effectual political force.

In short, Palin doesn't want to be a serious politician. She only wants to play one on T.V.
