Mexican official: Accused drug lord to be extradited to U.S.

U.S.-born cartel boss Edgar Valdez Villarreal, alias "La Barbie", will be extradited to the United States from Mexico, according to Isaac Fragoso, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office in Mexico City, Mexico.
Valdez was arrested in August and is thought to be one of Mexico's most ruthless drug traffickers. No timeline was given as to when the extradition may take place.

If people would educate themselves about weed they would be surprised to find that it is practically harmless compared to alcohol and other drugs.

Goober your idea is too easy. Why eliminate the plantations in Colombia when it's better to have something that perpetually needs fixing? Last figure I heard was 80% of all coke comes from Colombia. Killing the crops is too cheap and effective. Doing so would mean less cowboys out chasing bad guys and we can't have that now can we?

The truth is, millions are still sniffing la barbie's blow, and they will continue to do so for years, trust me. And fyi, if hes in prison its because he wants to be. And i dont think hes there all the time. ever seen law abiding citizen? also dont talk bad abut mexico, we are the "supply", if the US didnt have the DEMAND, who would mexico sell its drugs to? ill tell you what, in city schools, most drink, majority smokes and just a few do cocaine and other drugs, its the suburb kids who have the money for cocaine. La Barbie will always be a king, even behind bars, even if hes in a US prison, the best traffikers or any kind are US personell.
