Mexican official: Accused drug lord to be extradited to U.S.

U.S.-born cartel boss Edgar Valdez Villarreal, alias "La Barbie", will be extradited to the United States from Mexico, according to Isaac Fragoso, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office in Mexico City, Mexico.
Valdez was arrested in August and is thought to be one of Mexico's most ruthless drug traffickers. No timeline was given as to when the extradition may take place.

He just needs a hug and for someone to explain to him that what he's doing is wrong. Then I think he'll be just fine.

when they extradite him that would be the perfect time to smuggle some drugs in. they would never expect that.

they need to legalize weed and tax it. just like cigarettes. just think how much it would stimulate the economy. people would get the munchies and order pizza.

I think that La Barbie is gonna get some sausage in prison even though he don't like it. The nickname Barbie won't help him either.

People talk so much and making racist comments like refried beans is out of taste . Judgin this guy for nothing because am prety sure the moyority making comments do some type of drugs. If people from this country stops doing so much drugs. It might be a stop to all this drug flow in the united states. And to make things worst why send him to this country and spend tax payers dollars on things like this. Is very hipocritical to do this what is the interes on bringing la barbie to the usa. The so call war against drugs is dumb. I hope the cartels keep doing their best los zetas. The arrellanos felix. Cartel del golfo. The cartel from the pacific south keep doing what they know to do best. Any ways is goverment approve. Believe it

Actually no I don't do any drugs. Unlike the movies not every American is doing blow off their coffee tables. How about we destroy the narcotics producing plantations? Legalizing weed would probably help too. Most of you who suggest reducing demand obviously don't know that drug dealers are predators who seek out your children to get them hooked. 1 out of 10 young people might say yes but that's enough to cause a problem. The only reason weed is considered a gateway drug is because it's sold by people who push other types of drugs. Blame the users all you want but anybody who's never tried drugs actively seeks them out. Drugs are always introduced into people's lives by someone else.

Please don't send him to the US. With our liberal justice system and Eric Holder, we have trouble trying anybody. But if he has to be sent here, drop him in Texas.
