North Korea warns of more attacks

North Korea will launch additional attacks on South Korea if it continues "reckless military provocation," North Korean state media said Thursday.

The Korean People's Army "will deal without hesitation the second and third strong physical retaliatory blow," if South Korea provokes the country by, for example, firing shells into the north's side of the West Sea.

The statement also addressed the U.S.'s role in the conflict, saying "the U.S. would be well advised to drop its inveterate bad habit of pulling up others, falsifying the truth about the situation."

This is stupid. Why the hell are they saying that they're starving and they've got a lack of food, when THEY'RE the ones letting all their money go into nuclear production? I'm a 15 year old and I can freaking understand that. And who the fish do North Korea think they are, thinking that they have the right to blow up another country and kill innocent people just to try and de-militarise a country, gain diplomacy and food, and look like the best country in the world. They're WAY too arrogant. Do they OWN, the yellow sea? Or do they own that area between yeongpyang and pyongyan? I think not. Honestly, North Korea is acting horribly immaturely. OBVIOUSLY, the US wouldn't give them diplomacy OR tend to their needs, if they're not going to get rid of their nuclear junk, who knows when they could launch a missile when they don't get what they want! So MY VIEW is, the whole "problem" that North Korea THINKS it's facing, is their fault, and they're pushing the blame to everyone else, and they're acting immaturely. I feel sorry for the good people who have to be enslaved there. It's such a bummer that I can only sit swear and pray about the whole issue, I can't do much. >:(

Pretty sure North Korea = China in the different names of one country, or a military branch & a lapdog.

"What do you suggest? That we give the Islands to North Korea? "

The islands could be controlled by SK, NK, a third party, or combination thereof.

It was projected Korea would be among the wealthiest nations on earth within 25 years of uniting. Unless they have a civil war. They can blow it.

Separate subject: Maybe the maneuvers are right, maybe not. Do we have to go there and beat our chests? Someday they might try to nuke the GW. If they did, do we accept it or wipe them off the map?

Understand, I would like to see the NK government change as much as you. The sea border was fine for a truce, but the situation has lasted decades, and the sea border is unreasonable as a permanent border. Yes NK is bad news, but would we like it if, lets say a country that successfully invaded us within living memory and which we had a hostile relationship with, held live fire maneuvers with a state of the art nuclear navy just off our coast near Washington? Yes their conduct is unacceptable, counterfitting, kidnapping, gulags, bombs on civilian airplanes, you name it, outrageous. No aid definitely. China says there should be talk; China does not say there should be aid, silly western optimists say that.

Sorry to post so frequently, but it looks like they could be preparing for a war in a few months. China has urgently request 6 party talks. See: http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=86566 I think the regime might think it is going down and has nothing to lose. Time is not on their side. Take care, this is not a game.

If the US and SK do invade the north, they better legalize firing squads because a lot of the leaders have some explaining to do about why they are starving their citizens and giving food to their military.
