About Willie Nelson. One of the greatest songwriters since the 50's. You probably know the words to songs he wrote and don't realize it. He is a symbol of freedom not unlike the wild Mustang's being slaughtered even now. Willie doesn't service the government like most other performers do either. So he sorta sticks out. The Red Headed Stranger, The Outlaw...time stands still, it's people that fly by. Try and keep your nose clean Willie, because it get's worse.

Willie is creative and productive. What were they thinking when they arrested him? Don't they ever listen to the radio?
I SUPPORT Willie. What a voice.

Oh come on. This isn't news. This is just everyday stuff. It's like a "duh" story.

Marijuana should be made legal and then regulated/taxed just like alcohol. Maybe then we can do something about the real problems out there.

Texas is just looking out for Willie Nelson's best interests. How is he ever going to accomplish anything in life if he's always stoned? He's also messing with his health, will probably die early. Pot is just so very dangerous

Die early? He's 77 years old and has smoked pot most of his life. Get a clue.

The "war" is not so much on the drugs themselves, but the behaviors they lead to when used. Individuals who can drink, smoke, etc. safely and recreationally aren't what's keeping the drug "war" fueled. It's the DWI's ,the DWAI's, the assaults, the robberies (and all the other anti-social behaviors) committed for ,and while using, their drugs of choice. Drugs are not the enemy. It is the dangerous behaviors of your neighbors while ON the drugs.

People who are stoned on grass do not rob banks, drive recklessly or even get into fights. They eat too many twinkies and laugh at almost anything.
