If pot is so bad for you, shouldn't old man Willie be dead yet? Willie is a great artist and pot is part of the reason why.

I mean come on man, it's Willie "Freaking" Nelson! A music legend and icon! A man who has purportedly smoked weed with a well known official on the roof of the White House. A person who doesn't and never has hid the fact he smokes weed. Not that I'm advocating the use of marijuana, but the officer who arrested Willie should've been reprimanded by his superior officer and just let Willie go.

Everyone knows you don't cross the border with pot on you. The dogs are too good at finding it. Willie probably forgot he had any on him.

@ Frank Wilson, if the pot was legalized all those War on Drugs jobs would not be lost, there still would be some for the other drugs. Plus many jobs would be created in different feilds so the total amount of jobs would not be effedted all that much.

Uh... Willie is a great artist, but he is an even bigger ADDICT. We should stop arresting people for small amounts of drugs and put them into treatment instead. Our jails are littered with addicts who need treatment, not jail.

Marijuana is not addictive, and that is very old information.

      You must be an idiot.

So how many times does this arrest make? Hint for authorities. Willie doesn't seem to change his ways no matter how many times he gets busted. Just look at it as a microcosm of the bigger "war on drugs. "

If Main Stream Media were to get off their support of the Prohibitionists and do a little "digging" on what they hear from the Reformers, maybe the People would figure out where the REAL waste is and say something about it. Hint, hint! And, by the way, it's name is Cannabis!
