   Arrested Willie again. Shame on you cops. I know your doing your job and you'll get fired if not performed properly, but this is one of those cases where you should have just quit rather than arrest Willie Nelson. What next? Are cops gonna start smashing puppy dogs heads up against walls because there is no room in the animal shelter? This is about the equivalent to me. Sorry it happened to you yet again Willie. Maybe you shouldn't tour anymore, just stay in Austin on your compound. They don't mess with you in Austin, Willie sir.

     We'd love to have him back! There's bigger fish in the pond to go after... no need to go after Ol' Will.

     (I will say, though, that it IS slightly ironic that Austin's Willie Nelson Blvd. is 2nd Street.... where all the high-end restaurants and boutiques are... they should've renamed 78704 after him!)

   I'm pretty sure it was for himself so why waste time on a small bust like that. Go after the big guys or are the cops to scared to do their real job. They should be embarassed making such an arrest when there is way bigger threats out there. Go after the harsh drugs not the stuff that grows naturally. Smoke em up Willie. 🙂

   Willie needs to travel in an unmarked bus. Cops see the name Willie Nelson on a bus and they consider that probable cause. He should tour in a bus with a RNC logo on it.

   I can't believe some of the ridulous "reefer madness" comments on this board. How often do you hear about "pot related car accident kills so and so"? Never! Pot is so much more benign of a drug than alcohol! Most people who smoke pot will smoke in their homes and within an hour or less the effects are completely gone. Not like alchohol at all. I feel pretty certain that millions of people are still smoking it (from the baby boom generation) and it didn't ruin their lives. It probably doesn't help your lungs but I've yet to hear of someone getting lung cancer from pot, have you?

     Thank you, Deb for having a brain, unlike some of the fools on this board. I'morginally from a state that prescribes medical marijuana, and I can tell you from experience that nothing was more helpful to a cancer survivor.

    People don't die in Mexico because people in the U.S. smoke pot. If they legalized pot, then no one would have to smuggle it out of Mexico. Comprende? it's comin'.... there's too much money in it for the government not to get involved. They did it with alcohol, they'll do it with pot. Of course, whoever is president at the time will get all the blame regardless, but I don't see a Sarah Palin legalizing it even though she certainly could use some; it might help her face reality.

    Um, yeah, the person who is laughing hardest about this is Willie Nelson. I suppose the could give him a fine and make him do some community service, but he's worth millions and routinely holds concerts where he raises money for people down on their luck. Meanwhile we inadvertently find a tunnel filled with a billion tons of pot.
