     I expect nothing more than any other person that has a brain. Everyone has their vice. Some, it's alcohol. For a large and ever-growing number of voters like myself, we prefer something a bit more safer for our bodies.

     You are retired military? I have the utmost respect for you. ...but, I pity your for all of the force-fed propaganda you've grown to believe.

   The word, "dope" is so 80's. It's now referred to "medicine". Just move to Colorado, or California, or any other state that is forging change.

   This whole scene is just so damned stupid! Willie is an American icon - nobody is going to change him. And most of us don't even want to! I don't smoke pot, but if it works for him, fine. He is a very peace-loving person, never violent. I say, "Leave the guy alone, and let him make his music." Music is what he does! He does not preach any lifestyle; he just lives and lets live, which is what we all should do. It surely does look like some small town wannabe tried to make a name for himself, doesn't it? And he did - the name is "Incredibly stupid."

    Just think...if pot were legalized the money would help lower the national debt. I've never smoked it and neither have lots of other people I know but, we all agree LEGALIZE IT. This is just like Prohibition it didn't work then & it won't work now.

    That’s how Nelson came upon this gentle township,
    To plea his case before the Judge.

    No ‘Texas tea,’ or doin’ ‘doobage.’

    Turns out the Prosecutin’ man was fair enough
    enforcing Texas rule—
    seems C.R. had an ear for music,
    Liked his strummin’ country school.

    Again, Willie’d see the open road—
    ashamed—yes, lighter monetarily,
    Just one hundred bucks and one quick verse—
    such Texas hospitality.

    ……Hoped, Hudspeth would enjoy,
    “Blue Eyes…in the Rain”—
    “Trigger” thought that was inspired—and
    they’d accept his check writ on a Zig-Zag,
    Wheat-straw papers yet un-fired.

    Next time Willie visits Hudspeth,
    He won’t be holdin’ any, jane—
    ‘cause the County’s strict con-sider-ation
    Won’t be so ea-sil-y detained……
