Debt plan draws bipartisan support

Defying expectations, more than 60% of President Obama's debt commission voted Friday in favor of the group's final recommendations for reducing the country's long-term debt.

In a strong bipartisan showing, 11 of 18 members voted yes. Five Democrats, five Republicans and one independent voted in favor of the panel's debt-reduction plan. Those who voted against it included four Democrats and three Republicans.

But the result still fell short of the 14 votes needed in order for the commission to present its recommendations to Congress for a legislative vote.

Dump all the losers that voted yes and support killing tax cut for middle class.they should get paid 2000 for doing nothing and complaining about working the weekend to what they get elected and paid for.

Greed is not a monopoly of republicans, tea partiers. Democrats also have several Benedict Arnolds of the people that rather vote with their pockets than with the people and for the people. Republicans get millions from special interests, but democrats have always stood for the little people and middle class, but that hemorrage of greed is starting to affect democrats and when that happens, we will have another plantation mentallity based not on race but money. Nobody can't say that Americans arte not resourceful. If one door closes, blacks, other one opens: The middle class and poor. But this is just like shooting oneself, because once this nation runs out of the poor, minorities and middle class, who is going to do their jobs? I don't think they will like to pay 400.00usd to some one of their own to mow their lawn. Or who is going to drive Ms Daisy? You better, tea partiers, republicans think before wishing. Your wishes and your downfall might become true.

You people DON'T seem to realize that if you don't have debt, you don't have anything. Now, I enjoy ice cold milk with my M&M's. Does anyone else enjoy this too?
