Obama makes unannounced visit to Afghanistan

President Barack Obama arrived in Afghanistan on Friday on a surprise visit.

The president is expected to address troops at Bagram Airfield.

A major U.S. military review of the war in Afghanistan is due this month, a year after Obama ordered additional U.S. troops to the country as part of a strategy that would see some forces coming home as soon as July 2011.

After further review of the article at hand as well as bloggers' comments, it is with great regret that at the present time, I have no comment. Thank you.

Obama must stay in DC to work , not jetting around the world ,spending too much taxpayers money on travel cost .

Work ,Mr.Obama. You and your entire family have taken too much advantage of the presidency . Maybe you think that you are only oneterm president?!

I think it was a good idea for him to go. I mean we have those guys out there protecting us while we sit on our butts doing nothing. Every day they are out there afraid that they won't see tomorrow and yet we are at our comfy homes hollering about how they are using our money to help them out. I am glad he went and if i was president i would have done it too. It brings up there spirits i would like some of you to try to be one of them, or the president

The President is a great man with many good intentions. It is difficult to please every single one the 320,000,000+ U.S. citizens. Most of these posts just seem like personal vendettas or arguements just say something to be a part of this. It is nice to go outside or sit down and relax sometimes and realize what really matters. Of course, that is different for everyone. Go have some fun an support our leaders and troops while they serve. And if you have a problem with it, right a letter don't bash eachother. Alright, time to insult me.

I would love to see the people who are making the outrageously racist comments actually go and serve their country. Maybe if they had the balls to go and do what any of those in the service are doing, instead of sitting around making incredibly ignorant remarks, they may end up joining the African American woman clapping in the picture.
