Tired of all those airline 'add-on' fees? Avoid them this holiday travel season

The additional fees you pay airlines - from checked baggage to snacks on the plane - seem to be getting out of control.

Genevieve Shaw Brown from Travelocity shared tips with CNN's Carol Costello on American Morning. You might be surprised by some of the options that may be out there for you.

Simple, use your pocketbook to demonstrate your loathing of their new policies. Don't fly. Take your car/van/truck, take a bus, take a train, anything but validating their new invasions of our privacy so the sheep can feel safe.

Totally worthless interview....It seems unprofessional of her to not have told viewers to shop around for airlines that have fewer/no added fees....Southwest!

They've managed to do smart fuel hedging for years, so I don't expect that to go away so soon. United, on the other hand, lost ridiculous amounts of money on fuel futures a while back.

Like those before me fly Southwest! Also not related but on recent flight, talked with many females, and they all agreed they would rather have the scan in use as a security. We all were over 50 yrs old.
