Gotta watch: Beck's math on terror; skimpy Santa run

Zakaria checks Glenn Beck's fuzzy math – FOX News' Glenn Beck recently proclaimed that 10 percent of all Muslims are terrorists. CNN's Fareed Zakaria did the math and came up with a slightly different figure.

Scantily clad Santas run for charity – These brave Kris Kringles stripped down to their holiday underthings to run 3 kilometers for charity. We've gotta hand it to these Santas. It takes some serious guts to run through Toronto in your underpants.

And why CNN gives so much credibility to the boy who cried wolf? Beck is none other than a Tokyo Rose of the republican party that is more hot air than substance. If the media doesn't cover those Plaza "prophets" that proclaim, time after time the end of the world? Because the whole world knows that they are crazy, ergo, take away the "prophet" or the Tokyo Roses of the republican party and nothing happens. Nothing gain, nothing lost, it just becomes an essay in futility and racism to the nth degree. It's stupid trying to find out when the man who cries wolf all the time is telling the truth. He will never be able to tell the truth. He lives in a world of his own, AKA Cuckoo's nest.

Dingleberry ? What is up with all of the quotes? Are trying to rationalize Becks stupid statement with stupid statements by other people? Sounds more like classic radical right wing republican tactic of mis-direction. Don't take on the issue just point the focus somewhere else.

I have been following the writings of my former countryman Mr.Zakaria on his defence of his faith and I must say this.
He has been hoodwooking Americans into making Islam palatable to Americans in a very eloquent manner. I had a detailed response here on his writings, but our liberal CNN editors would NOT publish my views. So much so for freedom of speech that CNN would NOT let the learned readers decipher for themselves if I am talking crap or if I am making sense.....BRAVO CNN!!!!!!!!

Two points for all to consider:

When Fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross – Sinclair Lewis

Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship. ...voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country. – Hermann Goering
