Official: Shooting at Florida district school building

A shooting took place at a school board meeting in Panama City, Florida, on Tuesday, a school official confirmed.

The incident occurred at the Bay District Schools' Nelson Building, said Tracy Fidler, assistant to the district's deputy superintendent.

"There has been an incident and police are on the scene," she said. "No school board members were injured."

She could provide further details or confirm reports that a person was carried out on a stretcher.

CNN affiliate WJHG reported that the shooting took place at the county's Tuesday school board meeting.

No attention to detail, what a loser, there is no space between TacoBender's glorious name.
You should try having a Taco to calm your nerves my little pinto. Then you can come back to your basement pc and try to feel good about what you have done today.

Meh. It's Florida. As for everyone yammering about the typos, relax. A newsroom is a crazy place to work, especially when there's breaking news like this story coming in. I bet a lot of you grammar cops would run from a newsdesk crying for your mama after two hours of wall to wall coverage.

Cesar, you are one silly man. The comments directed at you were to show you that CNN should take better caution when reading their own stories BEFORE publicating and distributing them. This is not an english class. Your spelling was corrected and then you attack those that tried to help. This whole debate became an english lesson and the story itself was lost in it all. People stay focused on the reasons why this happened and what can be done to make all work environments safe for all.
