Between blanket us of birth control and unrestrained abortion, the world will soon be filled with the old and infirm extending their lives through the "wonders" of modern medicine. Humanity is able more and more to let disordered desire run rampant.

With all due respect, this information gives no call to preach Christian agenda, sir. In 2005, TIME featured an article discussing an undeniable trend of the Y generation...which was taking longer to choose a set in stone career...longer to get married and of course..longer to have children. Birth control and abortion r not new....what is has been a developement of the Young Americans perception of life's options and an awareness of self interest and exploration that trumps oppressive duties to a society that has grown too far from the 1950s to demand anyone be barefoot and pregnant ASAP. We are too intelligent and too globally connected to be scared into the submission I'm sure you fell into long ago. This slow growth...is a good thing.

Yeah, ok, SM. I think you're way off. I'd rather see the population growth slow to a more sustainable rate. These idiots need to quit having 4 or 5+ kids.

What the report fails to let us know is the millions of illegal immigrants that have increased our population but were not counted.

Kinda hard to count ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS since we can't LITERALLY go out and catch them.. The population projected.. Not literal.. Based off Census that were turned in... I'm sure it's closer to 350million..

At the wacko above.. Abortion and birth control control the population not to mention the "parents" who are not responsible or reliable to raise a child in their current state of life. It cuts down on teen pregnancy and the number of children waiting to be adopted.

Aborted babies are the lucky ones. They don't have to live in this cess pool for 70 years.

If not for the millions of aborted babies(who, if they had lived would have had children who would grow up and have more children etc, etc, etc) the pop. of the USA would rival that of China.

I have yet to meet a woman who would not risk death to save the life of her child. I know they are out there, I've just never met one.

I grew up in a small town high in the rockies. To this day, less than 300 people live there. In around 1967, a youngster drowned in our loval reservoir. We drained the water and found his little body and had a solemn funeral for the little guy. We also found 203 skeletal remains of newborn and aborted babies. Had these children survived the ordeal, the population of this tiny little town would be well over 5,000. (assuming nobody moved away)

There was a man who found the cure for cancer, but he was aborted in 1967.
