Convicted urine collector in trouble again

An Ohio man whose fetish-driven actions led Ohio to pass a law banning the collection of bodily fluids may be headed back to jail.

Alan David Patton, 59, is awaiting trial for allegedly installing urine-collection devices in a Lewis Center, Ohio, fast-food restaurant, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

He was convicted in 2009 of charges related to collecting other people's urine in his hometown of Dublin, Ohio, according to the newspaper.

The registered sex offender is accused of violating his bond conditions for the more recent case, the Dispatch reported. He faces as long as eight months in jail and $1,500 in fines if convicted, it said.

    Thats is some crazy stuff but really is that a crime? Urine is bodily waste, just like vomit or feces. You mean to tell me that if someone takes that why go to jail. Really? I mean isn't there any other crimes more important than that? I mean I really dont wanna have to pay a pee pee player's housing and food for whatever time he is incarcerated.

    another legislative session p.i.s.s.e.d away debating the societal values of p.i.s.s collections an other fine memorabilia!

    knee jerk laws are committing greater damage to society than having shark fin soup outlawed.

    While I personaly feel this is GROSS, I do not see why it is a crime, when someone throws out their trash it is no longer private property according to state law...is this not correct?

    If you think this is harmless, consider why he says he does it. He believes that consuming a (detached) part of a child will keep him young. What do you think will happen when he decides it isn't working well enough and he discards the 'detached' detail in his equation?. And as for the deluded person who knows him and thinks he's 'nice,' don't you know that is the most common descriptor of pedophiles?

    Rosethorne- You're opening up a dangerous can of worms there. If we started arresting everyone on what they 'might' do, then what happens when, on New years, you are arrested and charged because you 'might' drive drunk because you have a drink once a month?

    The fact of the matter is, the law was made to stop him (as stated in the article), and he was arrested on it. I don't care what he does with the urine, but his collection methods may be against the law. Other than that, he's got a very, very odd fetish- so what? I think foot fetishes are disgusting... does that mean we should make a law to get them arrested? Nope. Besides, you'd be amazed at the number of people out there with such a fetish. In this guy's case, probably much less... but still... just because he 'might' do something is no reason to arrest someone. That way lies a very, VERY slippery slope.

    Who cares? It's bodily waste. Literally none of the people who had their urine collected were going to use it. What's the harm in letting him have it?

    Before you judge this guy and the whole world ridiculing him for his obvious weirdness, does anyone take a moment to think why he became so weird? Anyone can guess but I have a feeling that he became so weird because he must have been abused as a child and that my friend could have warped his mind. His actions is probably his only way of crying out loud and saying "I need help" ... the rest of us "sane" people are watching him cry out (act out) and simply laugh at him and call him names!! Just think that not all weird people are born that way.
