Singer Teena Marie dead at 54
Teena Marie, an award-winning singer-songwriter known for her R&B
performances, has died, her manager said Sunday. The performer was 54.
Marie was found dead by her daughter after apparently dying in her sleep,
manager Mike Gardner said.

I grew up in Louisiana on Tina & Rick James music. Their "Old School" Funk is the best, and will be missed very much. They managed to blend romance with funk that enriched the mind. I will miss Tina's magical voice.

We lost a legend today. Teena Marie was "truly a great singing soul sister". I loved her dearly and will miss her. God bless her family and children. RIP Teena!!!

I had tickets to her upcoming concert that she has been doing annually in Los Angeles featuring the Whispers and Keith Sweat, I am deeply saddened today.

Wow, I was just listening to- It Must Be Magic- Square Biz- Fire and Desire- Happy- all of her songs this week, Wow I've been here before. To God Be The Glory, tomorrow is not promised to any one, lets love one another, be thankful count your blessing instead of adding up your problems. I will miss you dearly.
Lady T was a heck of a singer. She will always be remembered and missed. Fire and Desire baby a Classic.
