This is truly a sad moment she was such a beautiful musician and could still knock you out with that VOICE. Out On A Limb still rocks me.

Teena Marie was a very talented singer w/an amazing voice. I am so annoyed by some of the ignorant posts & ppl who keep asking who she is. This woman has died & ppl r making jokes & saying rude things....(some ppl). Let her FANS pay their respect & for everyone else plz shut the hell up! That's all.

  10. Huh!-What!

Stop tarnishing the life and death of this woman with your racially sensitive stupidity. I'm a 38 year old black male who remembers her music like it was yesterday...IT WAS FULLY LOVED AND APPRECIATED! Stop trippin on stupid stuff and stick with the matter at hand. WE lost a truly loved artist. Yeah, she happened to white but she did it in her own way that NO ONE has duplicated. WE loved it! She told us that it wasn't about our color without ever having to stand on a soap box. She made it clear that music transcends race. Only an idiot and a bigot would get on here playing a card (the race card) that she already TRUMPED!!!!! Get Real My Ni****!

I agree man, I agree..I don't care to read anything STUPID being written by anyone, black or white...She truly did transcend race...And I wish people would show a little respect...

This really, really, really saddens me greatly... She broke all kinds or racial barriers, appearing on Soul Train, making funky music with Rick James that we all enjoyed, no matter your ethnicity, black white or brown.... RIP Lady T.

Back in the day when she was the only white girl sounding like a sista, I saw the counter of crossover in the music business. Ok real quick name 5 white singers who sound like souls singers...
You still had to name Tenna Marie at least twice. RIP lady T. Dont worry we will still play your records.
