My heart cant take this are you serious after christmas it feels like a piece of my heart is missing. This is like hearing my mother passed a way Teena was a wonder mentor to me I love you and i miss you mommy#2
Teena is gone before her time, she will truly be missed but her music will always live on. Sooooo glad that I actually got to see some of her concerts.
"...in the master's plan/you come back/woman or man/if your life is full of sin dont you know when you die youll come back again/i thank God/i thank God/ i thank God/im not comin back no mo..." -Teena Marie: Deja vu. Youre flying high now, girl. Rest in paradise. You deserve it.
Teena Marie was a very talented singer w/an amazing voice. I am so annoyed by some of the ignorant posts & ppl who keep asking who she is. This woman has died & ppl r making jokes & saying rude things....(some ppl). Let her FANS pay their respect & for everyone else plz shut the hell up! That's all.

Oh my God. I'm one of Teena Marie's biggest fans, I'll never forget her spunk and her beautiful personality. R.I.P. Teena and my prayers go out to your family!! I Love You and will miss your music and talent dearly!!
Stop tarnishing the life and death of this woman with your racially sensitive stupidity. I'm a 38 year old black male who remembers her music like it was yesterday...IT WAS FULLY LOVED AND APPRECIATED! Stop trippin on stupid stuff and stick with the matter at hand. WE lost a truly loved artist. Yeah, she happened to white but she did it in her own way that NO ONE has duplicated. WE loved it! She told us that it wasn't about our color without ever having to stand on a soap box. She made it clear that music transcends race. Only an idiot and a bigot would get on here playing a card (the race card) that she already TRUMPED!!!!! Get Real My Ni****!
I agree man, I agree..I don't care to read anything STUPID being written by anyone, black or white...She truly did transcend race...And I wish people would show a little respect...
This really, really, really saddens me greatly... She broke all kinds or racial barriers, appearing on Soul Train, making funky music with Rick James that we all enjoyed, no matter your ethnicity, black white or brown.... RIP Lady T.
Back in the day when she was the only white girl sounding like a sista, I saw the counter of crossover in the music business. Ok real quick name 5 white singers who sound like souls singers...
You still had to name Tenna Marie at least twice. RIP lady T. Dont worry we will still play your records.
I hope this is only a rumor. If it's not, I am truely sadden. Tina is one of my favorites! I had the pleasure of meeting her at a concert and I could just tell that she was real. RIP Tina, you will be missed!

Can't believe she's gone!! R.I. P. Ms Tina!

This is truly a sad moment she was such a beautiful musician and could still knock you out with that VOICE. Out On A Limb still rocks me.

This woman had soul this is a crushing blow to all who knew her music, to say she will be missed would be a understatement.
