Mexican town's last police agent kidnapped
The last remaining police agent in Guadalupe, Mexico, was kidnapped last week, a spokesman for the Chihuahua state attorney general's office said.
Authorities are trying to find Ericka Gandara, who was kidnapped from her home in Guadalupe around 6 a.m. on Thursday, Chihuahua attorney general’s office spokesman Arturo Sandoval said.
Her family did not file a missing-person report, but authorities learned of her disappearance from friends.
The town of Guadalupe is on the outskirts of Juarez, a city in and around which two cartels have been engaged in a violent turf war since 2008.

she was stupid to stay after all others are gone, im no quitter, but there comes a time when you have to get real with it, is being a cop (obviously not a safe job there) worth dying for? At what salary, your all alone for a reason, your govt. Doesnt care, it was a token position at that point

not really, all they can do here is set speed traps and harass black people. i don't even consider them real cops, more like in the mid-evil days highway robbery men. they just want to collect money so they can get brand-new police cars better than most people drive.
when a real crime happens like your car gets broken into or house, they dont care. even if they have finger prints.
even drunk-drivers get off cause all it really is a matter of how much money you have. 2000$ and drunk driving ticket is gone and erased.
i might be jaded because i lived in a black area and had alot of black friends and it was always funny how when i had a black friend in the car we would get pulled over because we matched a description of a suspect or some other lame excuse. even here i live now the newspaper did a break-down of the people pulled over and tickets given and if you were a minority your getting a ticket.
