Police: Texas bank standoff over, hostages safe

A hostage situation at a Texas bank ended Friday afternoon with all hostages safe and suspects in custody, said Lt. Onesimo Lopez of the Pearland Police Department.

Lopez said that two armed men had taken an undisclosed number of employees and customers hostage during the bank robbery Friday morning in suburban Houston.

The first suspect was taken into custody in the early stages of the robbery when there was an exchange of gunfire, detectives told CNN affiliate KPRC. The second suspect was taken into custody at the end of the standoff,
police said.

    So why is it when Chase robs people, they get away with it? One person tries to rob them and gets caught. How unfortunate.

    With 14 million and counting unemployed in the USA bank robberies will become more frequent. People have mouths to feed and bills to pay and you dont know that these people involved in the attempted heist were good people caught up in a bad economy. Its going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Well that is unless your in the higher tax bracket and you just got a tax break while the poor got nothing.

    Aren't IP addresses created automatically on a PC when it connects to an ISP? Then that means all you have to do is reboot your PC and you get a differnent address. And who really uses ther actual e-mail to post BS on this thread?
