Tests conducted on bones found in Georgia have revealed they are the remains of Kristi Cornwell, who went missing nearly a year and a half ago, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Monday.
The positive identification was made through dental records, the bureau said in a statement.
Cornwell, 38, was last seen in northern Georgia in August 2009, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead said Sunday.

She was a street walker.sad, these women are easy pry
What?! Easy pry? What are you even going on about?Yeah, a "streetwalker" in little Blairsville,Georgia!
My prayers goes to her family.
right, never knew she went missing. how did she die?
after hearing the gut wrenching interview with her family and close friends amd being from blairsville, it was wonderful to hear that she was a christian. Shes been with Jesus all this time. I know that in some way, finding her remains brings some resolve for her family. They wanted to bring Kristi home, unfortunately she's passed but is no longer suffering. May Jesus bring the peace to them as her loved ones that I'm confident shes experiencing in Heaven. My prayers will be for them.
Yes thank God that although she was probably brutally murdered we can be happy that she was at least Christian. Phew! That was a close one! It certainly changes everything, hey Alicea?
Stupid religion.
