United Airlines flight diverted to Toronto

A United Airlines flight was diverted to Toronto late Monday after the plane's communication system began to malfunction, an airline official said.

Flight 940 never lost contact with air traffic control, according to United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson. The extent of the problem with the communication system wasn't immediately clear, but was bad enough the captain asked to divert, he said.

    The article doesn't mention the intended destination, merely that the flight was diverted to Toronto. Was it heading to Buffalo, NY? Tahiti?

    @Cesar...good! I like Cesar more then Big Joe too. Good to see you this morning friend. @qwerty too, Cesar is a genuine person. He's been here for quite a while now. He's full of whit and charm, and like any real person he sometimes say's things that step on a toe or two. He means well and I get the sense that he care's for us a lot more than, say, your Congressman does. Just so ya know.

    yer funny terri sue. I like that. And no, I would not wish being a female on even my worst enemy. They work way too hard these days and bear us children on top of that! I will never cease to be amazed at the wonder of a woman. I know I couldn't handle their job. Hat's off to women everywhere.
