Mass animal deaths scrutinized as Google map cites numerous incidents

Five thousand blackbirds in Arkansas. One hundred pelicans near Jacksonville, North Carolina. Three hundred doves in Italy. Seventy bats in Tucson, Arizona. Thousands of fish in Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brazil and the United States.

Google is now hosting a map of incidents of mass animal deaths around the world. Google Maps' distinctive blue balloons indicate where the deaths took place. Click on a balloon, and the map provides you with a link to a news report on the incident.

As of Friday afternoon, there were about 30 cases pinpointed on the search engine's mapping site, most of them in the U.S. and Europe.

Some might say it's getting spooky - and not just by conspiracy theorist standards - but experts tell CNN Radio that theories of UFOs and secret government weapons are, naturally, far-fetched.

In the case of the Arkansas blackbirds, wildlife buffs have said that a loud noise or other event may have precipitated the blunt-force trauma that killed the birds. Of all the notions about their deaths, Susie Kesielke, curator of birds at the Los Angeles Zoo, believes the theory that fireworks startled the birds is the most plausible.

“Blackbirds roost communally in the wintertime, and they sleep more soundly than most animals,” Kesielke said, adding that the birds were shocked awake and extremely disoriented.

Jonathan Sleeman, director of the National Wildlife Health Center in Madison, Wisconsin, said his office has investigated 16 mass bird deaths in the past 20 years.

“This is a bit unusual but not unique,” he explained. “Most of the cases involved pesticides or poison ingested by the birds, but trauma has also been found to be the cause of mass bird deaths."

Good to know experts aren't buying that Armageddon is upon us. Offering even more comfort is the blog Universe Today, which suggests that the deaths aren't so much strange as they are "a symptom of the digital age where news travels faster than you can say, 'The End is Nigh.' "

It cites a Time magazine article that details several strange mass animal deaths and wonders "if the internet age allows us to connect the dots where there are none to be connected."

As for connecting dots, the blog suggests that the map on Google could be laid on top of a "current global oil exploration map to test the hypothesis that the deaths could have been caused by ground-penetrating tomography."

In any case, it seems level heads are prevailing for now - at least until scads of humans succumb to spontaneous combustion.

“Until the sky turns red and there’s a plague of locusts, this event is not that unusual,” Sleeman said of the blackbirds.

So does this mean there is a flaw in the Matrix programming code.

A lot of these birds have been plunging into the ground. Others have been analyzed and appear from postmortem investigations to have died in the air, some due to profound stress, and some due to impact prior to hitting the ground, into what, unknown exactly. Fish die-offs and deer die-offs have been noted as well. No matter what you believe, I encourage you to have a read of Psalm 78 at http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+78&version=NIV and in particular keep your eyes open for verses 26 through 31 which address in part, "birds like sand on the seashore." This is a reminder to us of how our treatment of both this world and of God is flawed and that we need to be more respectful of one another, take better care of our world, and repair our relationship with God, before it is too late.

Would not be one bit surprised to find out this was caused by CERN's LHC activities. It would seem all the consecutive natural disasters that have been occurring back as far as January 2010 are in some way caused by CERN’s activities.

The problem with CERN's LHC is one of amplitude. Earth's ability to manage energy has been hurt by global warming so that rather than excess, typically heat, related energy being able to radiate out away from planet to outer space, to release it from the earth, heat and related energies are in effect, trapped under the thick insulating blanket that pollution driven global warming has created. Consequently, effect is like a pipe that has too much fluid being pushed through it- hence the blowouts at weak points in Earth's crust by way of sinkholes appearing in recent years in Guatemala and Germany, as a result of literally an underground explosions brought about by huge volumes of energy released into Earth's crust by way of CERN's activities, that the Earth is unable to properly absorb and manage by way of normal activities. Earth cannot manage the extra energy load so as with a lightning bolt, energy released from CERN's activities is literally just running through the Earth's crust and deeper, related layers closer to the core, and then blowing out at the surface at weak points.

The sad part about this is that CERN apparently is just a bunch of people who all they care about is saying what people need to hear so they can get their projects approved- and then sticking countries like Guatemala and Germany with the consequences of what amounts to CERN’s greed. Next thing you know, one of these days we shall see blowouts in things like oil fields where drilling is occurring, and that includes hitting utility centers in major cities and blowing those out, leaving those cities messed up for some time to come. If CERN's LHC gets cranked up to full power it is almost certain to blow out things like California and Hawaii, so what started out as nice places to live, and we will all be able to watch places such as these fall into the sea. Then, as CERN continues with its activities, and more underground explosions occur, life as we know it will come to an end as the oil supply is disrupted so we no longer have the fuel we need to transport food to be able to get access to it to eat it and although we will have water, it will be polluted and not drinkable, because the machines that are needed to clean it will be unable to run. So no water and no food.

The ocean floor, because it is thinner than other sections of Earth’s crust, is one of the first place electricity from CERN's activities will blow out- which means islands will be the first to go. This also means increased volatility of atmospheric conditions, including lightening storms, as electricity from the ground is released into atmosphere and as a result of pollution causing global warming, unable to escape into atmosphere.

Without investigating the evidence myself I would not reach an immediate conclusion. Animals do die in large numbers from time to time but none of the published experts reasons for why 5000 birds died simultaneously satisfies me or fit the facts adequately. I am convinced there is a man made, man caused reason for many species being threatened, but what do you expect me to do when most people don't care and many others want to explain it away too soon.

I can tell you what it is.... All of these deaths are a sign and symptom of a sick and dying ecosystem. The world is not infinite. Imagine it like a terrarium where you must have the perfect balance for all living things to survive. If you continue to pump poisons into an finite system, it will eventually reach it's limit and things start dying off.
This is the pure truth of the world.

    lets see=ARKANSAS= 5000 birds die in flight& 100,000 – fish dead,,,this caught EVERYBODY'S attention.
scientist say = no poison found in birds & water is ok,must be due to FIREWORKS,,.hmmm.
then = 2,000,000,00 dead fish in MARYLAND.,,,NOW,,,things starting to get interesting,,,huh?
scientist say = fish died from = ( COLD WATER STRESS )= lol.= really?
then how? do you explain TONS & TONS of dead fish in BRAZIL? = ( HOT WATER STRESS ) ?
& 1000'S of dead fish in NEW ZEALAND,,,FLORIDA.
    DEAD BIRDS = ARKANSAS, LOUISANA,,KENTUCKY,,ITALY,,SWEDEN,,
    this is ( NOT ) a single event,,,this has gone = ( GLOBAL )
WHAT IF? this is the beginning of the APOCOLYPSE?
WE WILL SEE= GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Could these animal deaths be related at all to the BP oil spill?

An interesting theory regarding CERN, but this is off topic... I think their experiments with the Muon Solenoid is causing the world increase is vulcanism... Any thoughts out there?
I mean if you have 4 tesla's of magnetism, (~100,000 times that of earths magnetic field) and you're experimenting with it, well, who knows what can go wrong....

You guys are dumb. This was posted on 4chan. They posted directions and everything that explained, in detail, plans to create a 'noise weapon' that indeed caused these deaths.

    Silly people 🙂

At first I thought it was the HAARP but now it seems more like a combination of several Electronic emissions and maybe a Poisonous gas outbreak. Large amounts of animals dying means a man made tragedy has occurred. The government controlled media is too busy talking about stupid stuff to keep us blind to whats really going on but the truth will come out eventually. fireworks and loud noises killing birds how dumb do they think we are.
