Biden arrives in Afghanistan on surprise visit

Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Afghanistan Monday on a surprise visit to the country, his office said.

Biden will meet with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, as well as U.S. service members and civilian personnel, as he assesses the security situation ahead of a planned withdrawal of U.S. troops set to begin in July.

    People of the United States of America.
    Why does Biden have to make a "Suprise" to Afganistan!He is just wasting more Taxpayer money in Travel.Obama was just there in December 2010.
    Both of them should be in DC continuously working on a plan to dig the Country out of the Mess it is in.Obama should have Biden stay in Afganistan and have him(another Politician who never served in the Military) advise the Generals there how to run the War until Sept 2012.

      Afganistan is not in the "Middle East",it is in a part of the world called Eur-Asia.
      I guess they did not teach you that in school.
