Gotta Watch: Wheels on fire; beauty and danger in snow

Beamer ball of fire – When it snows in the south, there's a reason people panic. It's drivers like this guy who, despite the fact that the roads are mostly impassable, decides to gun his engine to the point that it catches fire. The driver made it out of the car safely except for maybe a bruised ego.

Weather outside is frightful – With little salt and few plows, southern cities pretty much shut down in the rare event of heavy snow. This means drivers who bear the elements are rare and brave, and kids who stay home and play are plenty. In this video, we pulled together some of our favorite footage of the frenzy and the fun the bad weather is causing in the Southeast.

    After watching wheels of fire video,it reminded me of old 6000 sux.That bad boy came equipped with a blaupunkt, jenson coaxials, and got a eyepopping 8.2 mpg! No snow would ever hold us down! Dang I miss that car !

    His point is more of sharing than making a point. He had an awesome red 6000 Sux car with fabulous Jensen coaxials that really rocked beyond words, with an unheard of 8.2 MPG for such an incredible babe. Not surprisingly, he misses that wonder of a car.

    Anyone in this country, no matter what part or what weather,who Revs their engine so hard and long that it catches fire is a complete moron and should have their license taken away.

    Let the oil out of the engine block, just as the snow approaches. Maybe this would prevent "gunning" problems. 🙂

    whatever.. i've gunned a few enigines in cars till they blew. i also neutral dropped a few tranmissions to death. one of my favorite things to do since my camaro has headers and straght pipes and real loud is go out 3am in the mourning and rev the heck outta it.. some times i go out on mondays real early and plow everyones garbage for blocks and blocks.

    sometimes you get a flat or knock a fire hydrent over but it's worth it.

    another fun thing to do is goto like the walmart parking lot and roll your window down then you grab a carts and accelerate it into someones car or into a curb or into the street.

    i cant wait till the snow melts you can really farm the heck outta peoples yards with studed snow tires
