Sheriff: Suspect 'specifically targeted the congresswoman'

Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik told CNN's Kiran Chetry that his department has documents and eyewitnesses that show Jared Lee Loughner was a very troubled individual.

Dupnik people who have troubled personalities are very susceptible to the kind of anger that may have led to the shooting. He spoke to CNN about the evidence they have in this case so far and why he believes Loughner "specifically targeted" U.S. Rep Gabrielle Giffords.

For all the Palin haters, I've searched and searched and there is not one single reference made by Sarah towards Giffords for that tragic act. I don't care to read one single comment blaming Sarah. I wish Giffords a good recovery. Unfortunately, the shooter will not get the death penalty because he really is a little crazy.

well there actually ARE several references to Giffords from Palin, including a poster showing her district and name on a map...don't make statements of certainty without spending at least a few minutes on google. That's how Palin has gotten as far as she has.

Today I heard a caller on C-span say that when they first reported the shooting incident, a split screen was done of the shooter's face book page and he has Sarah Palin and the tea party as A supporter. This is becoming very interesting. I do not hate anyone and Sarah Palin is a human being hate is against my religion.

Cesar. Keep looking because it is there. She had a map of people to target with nice little rifle scope crosshairs on it. Her name was one of the crosshair targets.

Palin took the map with Guifford in the crosshairs down after the shooting. What I find so interesting is that they refer to the shooter as being a "liberal?" I am a liberal and I don't know any that support Palin, nor do they believe in the gold and silver standard for backing currency as revelant in today's time. He also believed in government mind control and that is an Alex Jones's standard rhetoric for his tea party followers. No one deserves to be gunned down for their beliefs, religion, or political affiliations. But, when someone like this guy displays out right mental problems as recognized by his school, then their should be a database with these names to do a more thorough background check before allowing individuals such as him purchase guns.
