Any liberals have anything to say about this Democrat yelling "you're dead" to a member of the Tea Party? Do you think Rachael? Keith or Chris pushed him to do it. Or was it more of Sarah Palin's mind control techniques?

He is 63, had been shot twice a week ago today. I don't know do you think maybe he is traumatized? Maybe PTSD?

He used words. He took a picture. Oh the irony.

I feel sorry for the man I think he is having an emotional breakdown and how could you blame him for that after all he has been through and witnesses.

I'm not blaming him, just using the same logic the left used last week blaming the shooting on conservatives.

The only reason this story is big is because of the Congress woman. If not for her it would be off the news already. What a shame guess you have to have fame or fortune to make the news. God Bless all the other victims.

Such an incomplete story would not make it to my small-town weekly. Geez, CNN. You should be embarrassed.

CNN . . . needs to really get the act together. It's either never editing or its very brief news or it doesnt even show up on my phone depending on the story. What's the problem?

I've noticed that there haven't been any Palin stories in the news lately (knock on wood!); maybe it's time we gave Tucson a rest too. I think they deserve some healing time away from the spotlight so they can return to routine. The University of Arizona however needs to rethink whatever made them decide to give out those awful T-shirts at the memorial !

A town hall like meeting hosted by ABC? Some news orgs seem more into creating news. They forget how to report the news.

Oh, for Heaven's sake! Does CNN but up these tidbits because the moderators are bored and already read the latest "Archie" comic book? And here I am feeding into it by commenting! I'm leaving now...I'm going to go stick a pencil in my left eye...bleh!!!

Not much to go on here, CNN- but I will say that Left/Right, there's extremists on both sides (and people who are clearly unhinged from all reality). All the while trolls stir the pot to keep it going. God isn't as concerned about shaping public perception as the media is, and everyone has got a spin for you!

  13. A Possibility

Why is it not surprising that so much anger and violence is directed at Arizona these days? Many think it's due to the passage of the Immigration Law that state now has that targets Hispanics. Strange that before they passed that egregious bad law there were no incidences like this to report because there weren't any such attacks to have the media go to report on. Sure hope with all my heart there aren't any more such attacks but one just has to give some serious thought to the possibility of a connection with the new Immigration Law.

You are kidding. Can't link the shooting to conservative talk radio, so blame SB1070, which does in no way "target" Hispanics. Can't you just blame the deranged guy who did the shooting? The media wants a reason it happened. The reason is this man needed help and the dozens of people now crawling out of the woodwork saying they knew he needed it, didn't push for it to happen.

Don't kid yourself into believing there's no connection. The possibility is very real according to many people.

Kay, it's a foregone conclusion that SB 1070 DOES very much target Hispanics. We don't see how it could come any closer. That is why another Arizona sheriff as well as many other prominent people are battling against this discriminatory law that should never have been passed. Anger is reaching a boiling point very quickly over this and no doubt is stirring the pot in Arizona. But that state has no one else to blame for their current troubles but themselves. They need to repeal this bad law now!

@concerned: Everyone does hate the government. Not everyone will take their hatred to the point of killing, but Americans are growing tired in greater numbers, so the eventual nut job can only be expected. The biggest contribution to their own safety congress can make is to serve their positions faithfully and without corruption. It would also help if they didn't go on cable news screaming like children at each other. I'd lose my job if I acted like they do and they make on average $170,000 a year.
