12:00 pm ET - Bill Clinton on the campaign trail - It seems like the campaign season just ended, but the new year brings a mayoral election to Chicago, and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is the front-runner in that race.  Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for Emanuel for the first time today.

2:00 pm ET - China human rights briefing - As Chinese President Hu Jintao arrives in the United States, questions remain as to whether China's human rights record will be a focal point in talks involving Hu and U.S. officials.  Republican lawmakers discuss the matter at a news conference.

2:00 pm ET - House health care debate - Delayed a week due to the Arizona mass shooting, House lawmakers converge on Capitol Hill to debate whether to repeal last year's health care reform package.  A vote is expected to occur Wednesday.

4:00 pm ET - Hu Jintao arrives in U.S. - The wait is over, as Chinese President Hu Jintao arrives at Andrews Air Force Base, where he will be greeted by Vice President Joe Biden.
