Obama should kidnap Hu and hold him hostage for 14 trillion dollars ransom. Somali pirate tactic that is obviously working for the black folk in Somali. Maybe he can also get us all extra shrimp, no additional charge, at Chinese restaurants in the USA for 5 years.

Ancient Texan. No. China is using us in the near term to achieve their long term goal. When it's all said and done, China will be ready and able to invade us in about 30 years. Killing most Americans. It will be either us or them and you don't last 10,000 years by not being able to see and prepare for 30 years down the road.
The Chinese are experts at it.

We need China more than they neeed us. After all, between 1949 and 1971 the United States not only did no business with China but successfully applied an international embargo against it and it survived. Could the U.S. do the same???

    • Jim Brieske,

The Chinese leadership doesn't care what the United States does. By our standards, what's the worse that could happen to them? Chinese people would die. They don't care about individuals. They have 1.5 billion of them to manage. They care about the group.
Their people dying is an acceptable loss when in the long term process of attempting to fool the Americans in order to destroy them once and for all.
