Steelers, Packers book spots in Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers will meet the Green Bay Packers in next month's Super Bowl after the teams won their conference titles Sunday.

The Steelers held off the New York Jets for a 24-19 win in Sunday night's AFC Championship game. The Packers beat the Chicago Bears 21-14 to earn the NFC title earlier in the day.

Pittsburgh will be trying to get its third Super Bowl win in six years and its seventh in franchise history. Green Bay is looking for its fourth Super Bowl title, last won in 1997.

Super Bowl XLV is scheduled for February 6 in Arlington, Texas.

Born in raised in WESTERN PA where all of the football greats have lived. Some of you people have to get real! This is where real football fans live, work and die, the Steelers Nation is stronger than ever. Believe in the Terrible Towel. The Jets fans did themselves in by stomping on the Terrible Towel. Has'nt anyone learned you do not disrespect the Terrible Towel. Happy Birthday Myron Cope!

Any team that could passed Baltimore and holding #1 defense in NFL, that team will win the Super Bowl. Mike "lucky" Tomlin and the Steelers just gave Rex Ryan a valuable lesson which is "BE COOL" and "SHUT THE HELL UP"

A lot of years, Baltimore is not #2. They are worse off. So lots of teams can beat them in D.
