Arizona shooting suspect due back in court, could face more charges

As U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords continues to show improvement, the man who allegedly shot her and 18 others - six of them fatally - will be in federal court Monday potentially to face more, and more
serious, charges tied to the Arizona massacre.

The arraignment hearing for suspect Jared Lee Loughner is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. MST (3:30 p.m. ET) at the U.S. District Court of Arizona in Phoenix.

Loughner, 22, already has been in that court to face charges on three counts of attempted murder in the shootings of Giffords and two of her aides, Ron Barber and Pamela Simon.

Too bad we have to waste tax money for a trial for him. Take him outside do what he did to the victims and be done! Enough said! Don't waste another dime on this idiot!

What do they mean "the man who allegedly shot her"? They KNOW he shot her.

They have to say this until convicted. Innocent until proven guilty...sad but true.

We have yet to know what motivated this young man to do what he did. He must have had a reason.

I am so sick and tired of seeing Jared Lee Loughner's face anywhere on the news. Why does the news media have to give all of this publicity. What other would-be killer is going to try to do a similar thing to get the same publicity. I do not know how to get across enough even. I dislike it when his lawyer wanted to get the trial moved because he would not get a fair trial. He knew what he was doing all along. He should no longer be classified as the alleged shooter. It was seen by many. We need more justice for the victims.

When the Chinese President was here last week, we should have sent this sicko back with them.
Congress should fork out for the dough for the bullet(s) they will use for his execution.

Tax dollars saved for jury...guilty as charged, done dead......
