There have been 2 more big shootings in as many days~one at a Walmart, killing 2 people and injuring 2 police officers, and one right in a Police Staion, injuring 4 police officers. WHEN will decent citizens demand better gun control, instead of giving into the nonsense that "criminals will always have guns, etc."? Criminals may have guns, but we do NOT AND Should not, make it so easy to buy assault weapons and high~speed clips.I said last week, that soon ,you would not be able to go to a store without wondering if you,and your family, will make it home.Seems to be about rught,I think!

The Rethugs/TeaPrs are hard at work already figuring ways they can try to ruin any chance of Pres.Obama getting folks back to work! Cantor,McConnell,Boehner,Bachman, and assorted TP,busy figuring how to repay their high dollar contirbutors, instead of helping the American people~what a surpiise there~HA! If we get back to work, there will be lots more tax $ to help the deficit. That Can be delt with THEN~NOT NOW~our economy is too weak. Remember the saying"you got to spend money to make money"! About Healthcare~LEAVE MY HEALTHCATE ALONE REPUBS! Just got my update for this yr,from Blue Cross. You would not BELIEVE all the GOOD stuff~and they STATE its cuz oof the new law! Meds going from $15 down to$4~FREE Preventive care~No $ limit if I get sick~put grown upkids on my ins.if they need it~many things.DO NOT let Repubs trick YOU into thinking they will EVER help the "Little People"!~NEVER HAPPEN!

You don't seem to be getting it. Having a line of workers down the street and around the corner is good for corporate profits.
This tactic holds down wages and scares people who are employed.

Fred Flinstone has a valid point. However, I believe the fear in unemployment is only a positive by- product for Fred's hypothesis.

oh yeah, and for all the good ,new stuff my insurance pays this yr,because of the new law,my ins goes up a whole$3 a week, and $5 xtra when we see doctor. My biggest worry has been when I have to join medicare, and not being able to afford the meds in the "donut hole",but starting now,50% of meds pd for in that hole, for older Americans Rather keep my ins or pay a little more taxes, and have Govt. pay for my health needs completely, but until then, this is MUCH better.[The New HC Law]. And,there is really only ONE THING that needs to be done to pretty much fix medicare&soc.sec.~raise the FICA taxes paid in to more than the $106,800 limit.Even raising it a little will make things solvent for a very long time! So,lets look at our good Presidents`SOTU as a GOOD thing and Help him move this country forward, not back 200yrs as some would like to do.

@Fred F. Yep~prob is,and thats why the Repugs want to keep the unemployment going. That, and to hurt the President, never mind all the people.Like Mitch McConnell said, their MAIN goal is to try and make sure they get rid of Obama! Gee~I thought their goal was "JOBS".Oh,thats right ,the Repubs FORGOT~once they said whatever to get elected.Imagine that!!
