Dr. Conrad Murray demands speedy trial in Michael Jackson case

Dr. Conrad Murray invoked his right to a speedy trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson, requiring the case to begin by March 28.

"Your honor, I am an innocent man," Murray said after Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor asked him to enter a plea during his arraignment Tuesday.

"What's your plea?" Pastor asked again.

"Not guilty," Murray said.

Really ???? You only injected somebody with a lethal dose of propofol and you're an innocent man ??? Good luck with that strategy !!

You thought it more important to clean up your mess before you called for help???
Why were you administering a drug that is given in a controlled environment, by skilled staff, with patients vital signs and O2 saturation being continuously monitored?
FYI...you don't give anesthetic agents in a private home in someone's bedroom. Where was your endotracheal tube, oxygen, ambu bag, and emergency cardiac meds?
You did a speedy job, and now you want a speedy trial. Hope they give you a speedy ride to the slammer. What you did defies common sense.
Your proclamation of innocence is overwhelming but lacks credibility.

Since when does an accused murderer get to demand anything?
    For God's sake!

CNN, where is the video footage inside the courtroom? Too cheap to send a camera crew?

I think micheal was a spoiled rotten man dominant and used to getting what he wanted how he wanted when he wanted! he probably would'nt have even had dr murrey around if he was'nt a " yes man" so i say mike ordered up his own death, leave the doctor alone!!

Michael Jackson was a mentally ill individual that lived in his own private world and expected everyone around him to kiss his rear. The doctor got caught up in that mental world, unfortunately.

He is not innocent he gave Micheal a drug he should of never had. All that man seen was the money and a attempt to control Micheal instead he murder him with a powerful drug he should of never had access to. That man wasnt even suppose to give anyone that drug. Hes a murder and he is not innocent!

Did you ever think that Michael Dr. Murray so he would not have to go to a hospital or doctor's office for fear of being seen by paparazzi or an intern or nurse looking to make a fast buck calling tmz? Face it, Mike couldn't do things you and I do everyday. The King of Pop was a victim of his court. Like lots of other kings.

MJ is not unlike an honest young man who gets involved in politics. MJ was a very good kid. His mother instilled in him at a young age the wholesome respect one should have. But just like the young honest politician who ends up corrupted, MJ entered a twisted industry bent on feeding people what they crave most. MJ was consumed by it...consumed by his own fans demanding 'more' and 'more spectacular' while living in a world full of this. MJ caved in and gave the fanatics what they wanted, a freak. It wasn't enough for him simply to be a talented performer in they eyes of his fanatical fans. They wanted more, and MJ gave more, even his soul. YOU killed him. (not each and every one of you, just those of you who are fanatics)

And now you want to pin the tail on this MD donkey, as if it were this one doctor who took Michael from being a good kid all the way to becoming a dead freak. Michael died from giving you what you wanted and it was a very slow painful death, not a one night thing. get it?

I remember seeing Michael Jackson at Disneyland back in the early 70s. I'd hafta dig thru some boxes to pinpoint the year. I've been to Disneyland over two-dozen times, and the best visit was with my then 3 yr. old daughter. I can still see her eyes lighting up in my mind when she stood up in her stroller agasp, pointing to the giant Mickey Mouse walking nearby. Anyway, Michael and the Jackson 5 along w/Donny and the Osmond's @Disneyland. It was pure entertainment, not a freak show. Everyone loved him. Even the old people. He was a very good kid. He had this gleam in his eyes, free of any pain. Innocent. He was so happy. Fast-forward to the freak he became in order to satisfy this new breed of fans who are rebellious and angry. the hipety-hop and rappety-rap "music" lovers who feed on entertainers like vampires, sucking them dry. Not that MJ is completely innocent, but he sure was moreso back then. Most are too young to recall. I know. I was there in this place you do not know of but have only heard of.
