Where to start on this debacle? OK, 67 Billion Euru bail out (approx. 113 Billion US). Lets start by raising taxes and cutting costs to the tune of 6 billion euros....that should make the Irish happy. That is is like putting a band aide on a severed arm. The trust of the Irish in the Gov. is at an all time low, the question is what party will be able to get the country back on its feet? Will it just be another popularity contest as Ireland goes to the polls, possibly in Feb.? As I have stated before, this economic down turn has greatly affected the youth of the country. The lack of jobs has forced many graduates to find work in other countries. Without the help of the EEU, by lowering interest rates, Ireland will be in dire straits for years or even a decade from now. The US should watch how this plays out, as we seem to be heading down the same slippery slope.
I agree, tomcat. The US needs to pay close attention, being as there are Tea Party isn't opposed a Government shutdown....not quite the same situation, although the similarities are there.
@ Gary...sorry lad, he resigned as Police Commissioner under less than favorable conditions. I doubt he will remain as PM. Since the Punt or Irish Pound is no longer in use, how many Euros are we talking?
You realize therefore significantly on the subject of this subject, made me in my view consider it from a lot of numerous angles. Its like men and women don't seem to be fascinated until it's something to accomplish with Woman gaga! Your individual stuffs nice. At all times maintain it up!
