   Jack Wheeler was one of the very very few people that actually stood up and did something for us Viet Nam Veterans when everyone else in this country turned their backs on us, up to and including the very government that sent us to a war that they never intened for us to win!!! When a trooper comes home from HELL, they don't deserve to be judged, spat on,insulted,called baby killers or the target of food fights... Myself I will never forget what we Veterans went thru in country"Nam" and I'll never forgive the people of this country or the gov for the way we were treated after our return from " HELL ON EARTH"... Especially since most were draft dodger and cowards!!! *Wayne* 2nd Ranger bn./82nd Airborne"69-72"

   @helen...yeah, it was Wheeler who pretty much made the Viet-Nam Veteran's memorial. And it is sad how you all were treated when you came home...as if it were your fault our gov. did this. Please know that not all of uS have forgotten.(smile)

    It's "nice" to know how he died. Question is: what next? This wasn't a "news" story: it was a "fact." What's the news behind the investigation? Heck, it doesn't even mention an investigation. After the video coverage surrounding the discovery of his body, I'd think this would be an important story to cover. But no, Gagaphony and Bieberisms seem to rule the day.
