Video purportedly shows slain Libyan soldiers who refused orders

Video has been posted on YouTube of what CNN is told are six badly burned bodies of Libyan soldiers in open body bags.

The video, taken on a cell phone, was posted on Monday. It is not known when it was taken. Opposition sources in Libya say the bodies are of soldiers who refused to shoot at anti-government demonstrators.

The video, which is just over a minute long, shows a crowd gathered around the bodies. With sirens wailing in the background, the person with the camera pushes through the crowd to the bodies laid out in a line, charred beyond recognition. The sources say many more bodies were found in an adjacent military barracks. CNN staff say the accents heard on the video are North African. It has not been possible for CNN to otherwise independently verify the video.

Warning: Due to the graphic nature of this video, viewer discretion is advised.

We get the point, we don't need to see anymore. This is absolutely incredible, what's happening in that region.

Pretty sick stuff. But, the culture is such that many times the only credible threat they understand is personal harm to themselves or family. You may recall, it wasn't until Gadhafi's daughter was crippled by US bombs (under Reagan) that Gadhafi stopped supporting terrorist training camps in his country. His days are numbered, as are those of his son.

Regarding the political nuts who are still pandering their ideas simply have to have a forum .... and every article lately has found them shadow arguing at each other. Like drunks with a hangover .... they don't realize their party was over just after midnight. The rest of us have moved on. Read a book .... learn new things. Laughing.

Someone has to be pulling the strings in this Middle East thing. Too much worthless evidence, too many rumors, to many atrocities that can't be confirmed and there is no way on this planet that this many countries spring up in revolt in the same place at the same time. The scary thing is, I think all our various nations know this as well as I do and I think they are just as clueless about who is responsible. This will get much more ugly I think before it is through.

Actually it makes a lot of sense. These countries all have similar conditions to one another, and they are watching their neighbors shake off their dictators so they of course think, could this be the time to get rid of ours? I don't think any person or group of people could orchestrate this kind of mass protest. If you could, you'd have to be the best spies this world has ever known.

There are Ethiopian merceneries in Libya sent by PM Melese Zenawi of Ethiopia to save Ghadaffi. He has mentioned before that he is of partial Libiyan descent. Just wait and see when the imminent revolution erupt in Ethiopia, Fashist Zenawi will unleash his killer dogs called Agazi militia who are from the Tigre tribe to massacre poor Ethiopians. But eventually the poor ethiopians will win and regain their country from Evil Meles.

    "All good soldiers follow orders"

Wrong. Good soldiers do not obey unlawful orders.

Enoch100 – "Get with it! All good soldiers follow orders, whether they are dead or alive is irrelevant!"
Actually, society has advanced beyond that barbaric viewpoint more than 50 years ago with the Nuremberg Principles. Principle IV states: "The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him".

I'd rather be a soldier than follows an unlawful order than a charred corpse. I hope your sense of humanity was worth death.
