Charlie Sheen enters the Twittersphere with a bang
It's official: Charlie Sheen has entered the Twittersphere, and people want to hear what he has to say.
The actor turned "unemployed winner" had amassed more than 150,000 followers (and counting) on Twitter before he posted his first tweet Tuesday night, less than two hours after joining. Check out this chart on "The Atlantic" to get an idea of what that kind of growth looks like.
His first tweet - complete with Twitpic - invites followers to choose their preferred vice. On the left, a bottle of "Naked" fruit juice, held lovingly by a busty blonde thought to be porn star Bree Olson - one of two "goddesses" who have been accompanying Sheen on his talk-show rounds and public appearances. On the right, a bottle of chocolate milk, held by a smirking Sheen.
Within an hour of its posting, the Twitpic alone had 726 comments (and counting!).
Sheen has been talking a lot since declaring himself "at war" with CBS after the network canceled production of the hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men."
On Monday, Sheen threatened to sue CBS over the action. He told NBC he wanted $3 million per episode instead of the $2 million he was previously making, but he later backed off that assertion, telling CNN's Piers Morgan that his only hard-and-fast demand was that he and the crew get paid for another eight weeks of work - a demand to which CBS appears to have partially assented.

How do we feel sorry for someone who is killing himself with no regaurd to himself ,his parents and sadly his kids.I watch the show it's great but hee won't live long and then he'll bE on all the time. Cause no one can play a Ass__le like charlie can.
I hope someone can help him before it's too late. He's really starting to look and sound like he's losing it.

LOL – that has got to be the funniest, backhanded defense of a person I've ever heard. I understand what you're trying to say - that, unless you know him personally, you shouldn't be judging him. But the way it's written suggests that only his friends should call him a loser.
I was just on twitter and everyone's talking about it.They're getting on his list because they say they want to watch him crash and burn.Which actually is pretty sad,I know he's arrogant and really out there,but he thinks he's being popular and people want to see what he has to say.When really what they want is to enjoy a show of someone that's totally lost it.

All theses actors that are on drugs shouldn't be making movies shows HOLLYWOOD there going to hurt some body and its bullshi+ they keep paying them if I got caught doing drugs at my job I wouldn't have a job and be in jail why when your a millionaire you can get away with those things

I don't care about Charlie Sheen. He is not important in my world. But to all the naysayers badmouthing him; consider this. He is honest. It may not be the truth as you see it. But he is certainly not lying to you to make you feel all warm and cozy. I can't say the same for the unethical corporate turds that you continually vote into political office year after year.
Face it. You deserve to be lied to. So continue to believe that drugs are bad. Continue to believe that religion is good. Continue to watch American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, The Biggest Loser, and whatever else you sheep do to give meaning to your otherwise worthless existence.

Two thumbs up. Charlie seems upset about this Lorre "corporate turd" malarkey, but he has a sense of humor about it at the same time. Some of the things he sez are hilarious, but not because he's a joke, which he may or may not be like any one of us at any given time from the perspective of someone else, but because he's being cynical and funny. A big ego? Yeah, seems like it. Intolerably so? I'd like to party with the guy and debate him on, well, anything, even if I didn't take the side I was debating from. At the end of his TMZ interview, he sez he is willing to debate anyone. I think that would be a blast. Unfortunately, for the present at least, he apparently ain't gonna be partying, so if ole Charlie and I were gonna be debating sumpin, I guess I'd lose because I'd be partying at the same time. Oh well. Geez, I dunna, never seen his show, but now I'm wondering, where can I find a DVD copy where I live on the other side of the Pacific from CA. Hmmm . . . so much to do, and so much time to think about what it should be . . . but I digress . . . .

The fact is with all the yes men and women around "stars",they are probably all as arrogant as Sheen.They don't have a clue that we only like them because they make movies for us to watch and they're a dime a dozen.Actually I'm really sick of the same actors playing all the parts,they need to step aside and let some other actors do more movies,because we're bored with them.It's not who is going to play the main characters in a movie anymore,it's what actor cliche is going to dominate this movie...again. 🙂
