U.S. contractor Alan P. Gross was sentenced Saturday to 15 years in prison for crimes against the Cuban state, Cuba's state-run news agency reported.
Gross was arrested 14 months ago on accusations of distributing illegal satellite equipment to connect dissidents to the internet as part of efforts to undermine the government. The prosecution had asked for a 20-year sentence.
The United States says Gross was helping the small Jewish community connect to the internet and that he didn't break any laws.

Wow, that was short , u ok
Cuba is an interesting place, the people evidently support the government and are comfortable with communism. Surprising, considering they are surrounded by democracy and the free world. This problem wouldn't exist if they would get with the program, become informed and quit letting their government make their decisions for them.
Ok, last time I post , I dont like bothering ppl so I will be back on at 7:30 if you want to talk
Its just that blogging has no time. It is free as a bird. See you later my New Yaka.
BYE
@Mary: Bye is only a word representing a temporary separation between the conscience mind in the vast infinity of the cosmos.
Do you think 15 years for connecting to the internet is a harsh enough punishment? Some may think its too light. What do you think Mary?..... Typical female, deserts me when I need her most. Bye Mary, I'm going to Best Buy, then Olive Garden.
Cesar, I can one up you. I seem to keep a man only if he is my friend , which is great but I'm 46, I'm tired of just being friends. I cant seem to communicate if I'm involved with one.
