I've just seen a video describing wind blown radiation eastwards over the north pacific. The presenter decribed this as preferable to a westard direction due to the density of the potentially affected population. There was no analysis or comment on the effect of polluting the north pacifiic ocean with the possibly vast plumes of radioactive material that will be released as this reactor failure event deteriorates further. How do we deal with a radioactivley contaminated ocean, Anyone? Hello? Tuna sandwich anyone?
