sometimes i feel like a nutt some times i dont...
i still think my original idea of leaving the old space shuttles in orbit attached to the iss is a good idea.. you could use them as a tool shed or a broom closet.. im sure they would have some good spare parts on them..
@ Ruffnut , I think it would be a scary prospect to see through your eyes even for a moment. 🙂
i need my eyes... you can borrow my glasses tho..
That will do 🙂 boy all the sudden your everywhere , I got today off. YAAAAA
Didn't NASA have some plan for doing that with the empty fuel tanks? I seem to remember that from when the shuttle program started.
You know you may be right , think I remember reading that some where. But with that SW story , I would venture to say NASA would like to keep up the maintenance as well.
Maintenance was one of the problems with the shuttle. NASA couldn't afford them any more because of budget cuts. Meanwhile, the military has everything it wants, never mind needs.
i wonder if you could get 2 of the old fuel tanks and put them together and make the worlds largest pontoon boat? we could have an awesome party barge..
Booyah! Great idea! We'll hit up the army for steaks and the Air Force for fireworks! Obama can bring the beer and bud.
@ Ruffnutt:I love the way your mind works, never change 🙂
