'Serious casualties' from blast at Nigerian voting station

A bomb blast ripped through a voting station in northeastern Nigeria Saturday evening, causing "serious casualties," a spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency said.

It was the third such explosion in the country since Friday.

Human Rights Watch estimates that at least 85 people have been killed in political violence in the run-up to the delayed national elections, being held over three days:  Saturday, April 16 and April 26.

I've had trouble with mine, too. Also, I'm challenged by doing this on a Blackberry.

@jenny: rich want to get richer. For them the poor ones are a piece of meat for bullets used to make their way through. Just inhumane and sad to know civil rights protectors are the ones at the heart of these conflicts violating the sacrecy of life (UN, ICC, Govts, Police etc)! Ever wander why rich robs goes to congress and get off? The enemy is the one calling the victims terrorists as a way to justify his deeds against morality! Sorry is all left to say. Criminal plays God to judges, police, and what not. Rational, u could have a piece of mind understanding vanities under the sun. Lol

Omg....we're at our local watering home and my daughter and her two friends walked by....they looked at my car, but thought it wasn't mine because the handcuffs weren't hanging in the mirror....but my hubs doesn't like driving with them hanging. I ran out and said hey! I haven't seen her all weekend, so this contact is precious. (She's 17) and yes, that was sarcasm, but it was fun to see them....

    Call was canceled.
"Okie dokie" is one of my favorite lines, lifted (liberated) from a Hannible Lechter film–the last, I think. Whenever things get rough, I quuote Hannibal's okie dokie.
