NBA fines Kobe Bryant $100,000 for 'offensive' comments

The National Basketball Association fined Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers $100,000 on Wednesday for "offensive and inexcusable" comments he made during Tuesday night's game, the league said in a statement.

    So, when are they going to start fining players for using the OTHER "F" word? That's more offensive to ME than f*gg*t. There are lots of kids watching the NBA and these big bad boys on the basketball court need to watch their language, IMHO

    You guys made me laugh when I heard that Kobe Bryant got fined. A $100000 to him or to any NBA player it's like a $10 fine...

    Ha! So the great Kobe Bryant can't cut it after all...so sick of hearing about how great the Lakers are; they don't fare so well without Kobe anyway, and he can't always win with his one man show, even if the refs calls mostly DO favor the Lakers. Kobe doesn't compare to Michael Jordan and never will, so quit trying to shove him down our throats already!
