He should have been ejected from the game and suspended from playoffs. He doesn't care about the $100,000. It's just another tax write off. He should be ashamed of himself but knowing Kobe, he gets away with everything.

Knowing Kobe? So I'm just wondering, how do you know him? He got caught on camera, I am sure there are many bb players who mouth off and don't get fined. Sure it wasn't appropriate when the camera was in his face but haven't you ever done something or said something in the spur of the moment? Perhaps when you were angry? Besides some of those ref's are just what he called them. imho

seriously, this article is a piece of garbage. CNN should fire whoever wrote it. Clearly100% of all people who click on this headline want to know what he said. At least acknowledge this fact in the article. Fail.

I think he called one of the refs a fu***** f**get after recieving a technical foul, the television station panned to his face as he mumbled those words. I assume that is what the fine is for.

...you can't take the Getto out of Kobe

It's about his ignorant, vulgar, disrespectful state of mind, not where he grew up.

Some "Religious People" may think that....However, many people who really love The Lord don't think that. 😉

He should have been fined more.... $100,000 is nothing to an idiot like that, who earns millions each year. Why do sports stars have to act like such jerks!!
